May 18 (UPI) -- Alec Baldwin and wife Hilaria Baldwin are celebrating the birth of their baby boy.

The 60-year-old actor and 34-year-old fitness expert shared a photo Thursday on Instagram after welcoming their fourth child. The picture shows the couple smiling at their son as Hilaria holds the infant in her hospital bed.

Hilaria also took to Instagram Stories to thank fans for their well-wishes.

"Hi, everybody. Just want to say thank you for all the nice wishes. We're doing really well," she said. "He's doing really well. He's a really good eater. He's very, very sweet. We love him so much and we're on the mend."

Baldwin already shares 4-year-old daughter Carmen, 2-year-old son Rafael and 20-month-old son Leonardo with Hilaria, and is also parent to 22-year-old daughter Ireland with Kim Basinger.

"It was funny because when we first met, he wanted to make sure I wanted to have kids," Hilaria, who married Baldwin in 2012, told Us Weekly in November. "Alec was very upfront with what he wanted in the beginning. He really wanted to have more kids."

"I really do believe that [baby No. 4] was meant to be and will come and we'll be completely obsessed with him," she added.
