Jan. 5 (UPI) -- Supervillain Enchantress is the next playable character coming to developer NetherRealm Studios' DC Comics fighting game sequel, Injustice 2.

Enchantress displays her supernatural abilities in a new gameplay trailer released Friday as she takes on her Suicide Squad counterpart Deadshot.

Enchantress is also seen taking on Harley Quinn and Black Canary as she punishes her opponents by taking over their mind and summoning demons. A finishing move involves the sorceress creating an astral clone of her opponent in order to beat them down.

"The all-too ordinary life of June Moone ended the day she was possessed by the Enchantress, a demonic sorceress with aspirations of world domination," reads the synopsis for the trailer. "Today, she fights for her very soul, struggling to harness the Enchantress' magic for good. If she fails, the Enchantress will consume her - and our world won't be far behind."

Enchantress will available for those who purchased Injustice 2 Ultimate Edition or the title's Fight Pack 3 expansion on Jan. 9. She will then be available for purchase as a standalone character on Jan. 16.

Fighter Pack 3 has already included The Atom and will provide The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles as playable characters at a later date.
