July 27 (UPI) -- Pop star Justin Bieber hit a photographer with his truck as he was leaving a church event, police said.

Bieber had left a City Church event at the Saban Theater in Beverly Hills Wednesday night and climbed into his large pickup truck. As he was pulling out, he allegedly hit a photographer at an "extremely slow speed," said Beverly Hills police Lt. Scott Dowling, according to the New York Daily News.

A video published by TMZ shows Bieber pulling out of a parking space and turning right. As he does so, the large front right wheel appears to hit a photographer standing in the street trying to get a shot of the Canadian singer. The photographer then falls to the pavement.

The video then shows Bieber attempting to help the photographer.

"What do you need?" he asks "Is there anything we can do to help you?"

As other photographers clamor around the scene of the accident and take photos and video, Bieber asks them: "You guys got enough footage of this?"

"No, can you pose a little more?" replies one of the photographers in the mob.
