Chloe Bennet, Logan Paul address kiss photos: We 'are friends'

July 7 (UPI) -- Chloe Bennet and Logan Paul addressed romance rumors Thursday after photos of them kissing surfaced this week.

The 25-year-old actress and 22-year-old actor discussed their relationship status in a vlog post on YouTube after they were spotted getting close Tuesday in Hawaii.

"We woke up today and we were plastered all over the Internet," Paul acknowledged. "I kind of have to address this. I'm very transparent with you guys. Chloe and I are friends, for sure. In my opinion, friends sometimes make out."

"I kiss all of my friends," Bennet said before Paul added, "If you haven't kissed your friends, personally, I don't think you're friends. So that's what Chloe and I were doing."

Paul, who came to fame as a social media star on Vine, said he and Bennet have yet to define their relationship.

"It's kind of awkward because this puts us in a position where you're maybe forced to label what this is, but we don't know what this is," the actor confessed. "Long story short, is Chlogan real? I don't know. She doesn't know. No one knows."

"It's an invasion of privacy. Chloe and I were just chilling," he said of the paparazzi photos. "We were keeping this private ... It's an intimate thing."

Just Jared reported Wednesday that Bennet recently split from actor Austin Nichols after four years of dating. The actress, who plays Daisy Johnson on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., met Paul on the set of the film Valley Girl.
