June 30 (UPI) -- Disney Channel alums Ashley Tisdale and Debby Ryan came together this week to cover Destiny's Child.
Tisdale, who played Sharpay Evans in the High School Musical film series, and Ryan, who portrayed Jessie Prescott on Jessie, performed the Destiny's Child hit Say My Name for Tisdale's "Music Sessions" video series.
"Check out an all new Music Session with my girl @debbyryan," Tisdale captioned a photo on Instagram of herself with Ryan.
"Ashley had me over for a Destiny's Child singalong and now it's on her YouTube channel if you wanna check it out," Ryan added to a picture on her own account.
Tisdale gushed about Ryan in the video, calling the 24-year-old actress her "ultimate girl crush and spirit animal." The pair confirmed they're friends and hang out together, but said they've never collaborated professionally.
"We've never even sang together. We haven't worked together. We've just been, like, actual friends," Tisdale said. "We're super excited."
Tisdale reunited with High School Musical co-star Lucas Grabeel to sing What I've Been Looking For in May. She previously told Entertainment Tonight that she and her former castmates "all still love each other and love hanging out" together.
