May 1 (UPI) -- Braun Strowman's path of destruction continued Sunday at WWE's Raw-exclusive event, Payback.

The Monster Among Men faced off against rival Roman Reigns in the main event weeks after Strowman had decimated The Big Dog backstage following an interview segment.

Still injured from the assault, Reigns entered the match in bandages and tried his best to topple the towering giant however, two Superman Punches and a Spear was still not enough to gain victory.

Strowman ended the match with a hard-hitting powerslam but his assault continued well after the three count as Strowman beat down Reigns using steel steps.

A bloodied and battered mess, Reigns was then helped to an ambulance backstage when suddenly Strowman charged at his opponent, who narrowly stepped away at the last moment. This caused Strowman to crash into the ambulance door, which flew off its hinges.

In the women's division, Alexa Bliss made history as the first woman to have held both the Raw and Smackdown Women's Championships when she bested Raw Women's Champion Bayley.

The contest featured The Wicked Witch of the WWE, who was able to conquer The Huggable One's Bayley-to-Belly finishing maneuver and plant the champion with a decisive DDT for the three count after Bayley grew frustrated from not defeating Bliss with a top-rope elbow drop.

Also at Payback, WWE Champion Randy Orton of Smackdown faced off against Raw's Bray Wyatt in the first House of Horrors Match. The No Holds Barred contest began inside a haunted house devised by Wyatt, which featured creepy decorations around every corner.

The Eater of Worlds gained an advantage inside the house when he threw a refrigerator onto Orton as the two brawled inside the kitchen.

Upon returning to the arena to determine a winner, Wyatt found The Viper waiting for him inside the ring with a steel chair. With victory in his grasp, Orton was once again ambushed by The Bollywood Boyz, who were then joined by the No. 1 contender for the WWE Championship, Jinder Mahal.

Mahal used Orton's title belt that he had stolen on Tuesday as a weapon to attack Orton who was then knocked out by Wyatt's Sister Abigail for the three count. Orton will formally defend his title against Mahal at WWE Backlash on May 21.

Other moments from Payback included Chris Jericho defeating Kevin Owens for the United States Championship, Austin Aries defeating Cruiserweight Champion Neville by disqualification, Raw Tag Team Champions The Hardy Boyz defeating Sheamus and Cesaro and Seth Rollins defeating Samoa Joe.
