March 15 (UPI) -- Smackdown Live commissioner Shane McMahon challenged AJ Styles to a match at WrestleMania Tuesday following a night-long feud.

Styles kicked off Smackdown by voicing his frustrations over how he has been treated by McMahon and general manager Daniel Bryan since losing the WWE Championship in January at the Royal Rumble.

According to Styles, the front office has failed in giving him a proper rematch for the belt that now resides around the shoulders of Bray Wyatt. The Phenomenal One was also displeased with not having an opponent for WrestleMania.

The self-proclaimed "Face that Runs the Place" then took matters into his own hands by violently ambushing McMahon as he arrived at the PPG Paint Arena in Pittsburgh. The attack ended with Styles throwing McMahon into a car window that shattered into pieces.

Bryan then confronted and fired Styles during a heated discussion in the locker room area.

As Smackdown drew to a close, a visibly battered McMahon walked out to the stage and called out Styles to meet him at WWE's biggest event.

"AJ Styles says he doesn't have an opponent at WrestleMania ... he does now," the prodigal son said.

Also on Smackdown Live, Bryan made official a couples Tag-Team match between John Cena and Nikki Bella against The Miz and Maryse for WrestleMania.

"Going to #WrestleMania with my Love @JohnCena!! This woman right here is on cloud 9!" Bella wrote on Twitter regarding the match alongside photos of the pair sharing a kiss inside the ring.

Wyatt was also on hand during the show to announce to his WrestleMania opponent Randy Orton that he now possesses the power of Sister Abigail after The Viper had previously burned her remains along with the Wyatt Family compound.
