Sofia Vergara on Joe Manganiello turning 40: 'I love that he's getting old'

Feb. 7 (UPI) -- Sofia Vergara discussed how her husband Joe Manganiello celebrated his 40th birthday Monday on Ellen and how she loved watching him have fun.

"It was great," the actress said of Manganiello's Jan. 13th bash at the W hotel in Los Angeles to host Ellen DeGeneres.

"It wasn't that big — it was only like, 150 people — but it was fun for him," she continued.

"He only allowed me to do a little bit of decoration, nothing crazy. I just got balloons, flowers and the cake, and he took care of the rest. He had a band from the '80s, and he had good food and alcohol and all his friends," she said.

"I love to see him happy," Vergara added. "And I love that he's getting old!"

Manganiello's party titled Joechella as revealed on Instagram, featured glam metal band Steel Panther. The Magic Mike star also shared on the photo app how he had jumped on stage to perform a few songs.
