Soulja Boy challenges Chris Brown to fight, gets in fight with stranger

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 4 (UPI) -- Soulja Boy found himself in deep trouble Tuesday while in Compton where he was seen calling out new rival Chris Brown to a fight live on Instagram.

The "Crank That" performer was streaming himself alongside a group of men who he claimed would have his back in a potential fight with the singer.

Things turned south however after Soulja Boy moved closer to an unidentified man yelling "What's going on man? They say Soulja Boy ain't from the hood."

At that moment Soulja Boy put his arm around the man who quickly pushed off proclaiming "Get off me though." Soulja's Boy phone then drops to the ground showcasing a black screen as the 26-year-old is heard apologizing.

In footage released by TMZ, Soulja Boy is seen getting ready to fight the man before backing off and apologizing as others got between them.

Chris Brown responded to the incident on Instagram proclaiming "God bless you" multiple times while smirking

The feud between the pair started Monday after Soulja Boy proclaimed on social media that Brown had threatened him after liking a photo from his ex, Karrueche Tran. The duo have since exchanged a number of jabs on social media including a collection of memes aimed at one another.

Tran responded to the beef on Brown's Instagram commenting "This drama between the both of these two is so ridiculous it makes no sense," after Brown had given his side of the story, as shared on The Shade Room.

"We just brought in a new year and this what we doing? Leave the extra'd out, rah rah shi..behind. This isn't cool or funny..it's draining..not just for me..but for everyone," she continued before addressing Brown's comments on how he wanted to make her feel "poppin."

"There's so much more out there in life then "twitter beefs." But anyways..second off..trying. to. make. me. feel. poppin? You talking about your old song "Poppin"? You know what makes me feel poppin? Getting up and going to set.. walking in my apartment and seeing my Emmy with my name on it.. giving away shoes and feeding the less fortunate..being able to provide for my family with my own $$..that's what makes me feel good about myself. I been chillen...working..eating my veggies..hitting these squats and minding my own business and that's exactly how I want to keep it," the actress and model wrote.

Brown fired back by sharing his response that stated Tran was "2 years famous" for having dated him. "No one asked for this opinion!!! It ain't over you!! Girl keep the fame you got and stay classy! This man randomly started this, now u gassed," he continued.
