LOS ANGELES, Sept. 1 (UPI) -- Chris Brown released a new song on Wednesday, hours after he was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.

The incident occurred in the early morning hours Tuesday after a woman called 911 and said Brown pointed a gun at her inside his home.

After demanding officers return with a search warrant, Brown was arrested and held at police headquarters. He was released later Tuesday after posting $250,000 bond.

Brown posted a video to Instagram saying rather than focusing on the incident, he's going to "turn the other cheek and drop some music."

Brown released his new song via his official SoundCloud page called, "What Would You Do?"

So far the song has racked up over 200,000 plays on the streaming site.
