Anthony Michael Hall charged in confrontation with neighbor

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 27 (UPI) -- Prosecutors in Los Angeles have charged former child star Anthony Michael Hall with felony battery with serious bodily injury.

TMZ said the charges stem from a September confrontation Hall had with his neighbor.

If convicted, the 48-year-old Sixteen Candles and The Breakfast Club alum could possibly spend up to seven years in prison.

The New York Daily News said an attorney for Hall did not immediately respond to its request for comment regarding the story.
