Ruby Rose says she talks to Taylor Swift about 'everything and everyone'

SYDNEY, Nov. 22 (UPI) -- Ruby Rose revealed that she talks to Taylor Swift about "everything and everyone," including Rose's girlfriend, The Veronicas' Jess Origliasso.

Rose and Origliasso rekindled their romance after briefly dating in 2008, but remained friends after their breakup. The two reconnected on the set of The Veronicas' music video for their song On Your Side, which Rose wrote, directed and starred in.

"It definitely wasn't planned," Rose said about her second-chance relationship with Origliasso. "It just came out of nowhere and it was a really delightful thing to happen. Probably the second I saw her [I knew]."

Rose, who stars in the upcoming xXx: Return of Xander Cage alongside Vin Diesel, said she is amused at how people respond to her friendship with Swift and her involvement in Swift's famous group of friends which include Gigi Hadid, Lorde, Cara Delevinge, Karlie Kloss and Selena Gomez.

"I do think it's funny, the whole 'squad' thing," Rose said. "I don't think Taylor ever called it that. I think the media ran with it because it sounds cool."

Xander Cage opens in theaters on Jan. 20.
