"Our priority is and always will be our beautiful son that we share together. We will continue to be great co-parenting partners for him. We ask for respect and privacy for our family during this difficult time," they continued.

According to TMZ, Rivera filed for divorce on Nov. 15 and is requesting primary physical custody of their 1-year-old son Josey with Dorsey receiving visitation rights.

Rivera, 29, and Dorsey, 32, tied the knot in Mexico in July of 2014 after the actress ended her engagement to rapper Big Sean in April of that year. Rivera and Dorsey had been friends for four years beforehand.
