Bette Midler revives her 'Hocus Pocus' character for Halloween

NEW YORK, Oct. 29 (UPI) -- Actress and singer Bette Midler has revived one of her most famous film characters just in time for Halloween.

Midler, 70, donned a Winifred Sanderson getup to attend a New York Restoration Project event. The theme was "Witches, Warlocks & Wizards at the Haunted Hotel."

The diva originally played the witchy Winifred in the 1993 movie Hocus Pocus.

"Winifred Sanderson flies in to Hulaween! Says thanks to everyone who made it such an electrifying evening!!" she tweeted Saturday, alongside a photo.
