LOS ANGELES, Sept. 22 (UPI) -- Kim Kardashian doesn't think she took her highly publicized feud with Taylor Swift too far.

The 35-year-old reality star insisted in the Autumn issue of Wonderland that she didn't mean any harm by releasing husband Kanye West's secretly recorded conversation with Swift about his song "Famous."

"I never publicly talk bad about people. I still don't feel like I have. I'm being honest. I'm a fan. I like her music. There was no shade," she said before revealing, "Girls in her squad hit me up on text [afterward]."

Kardashian had shared the conversation on Snapchat in July after telling GQ that Swift approved the "Famous" lyrics. The song includes the controversial line, "I feel like me and Taylor Swift might still have sex. Why? I made that [expletive] famous."

"I feel like I've had it with people blatantly treating my husband a certain way," Kardashian said of the GQ interview on Keeping Up with the Kardashians the same month. "I'll do whatever to protect my husband."

West later claimed at a Drake concert that he was telling the "truth" about Swift signing off on the lyrics. The 26-year-old singer had denied she gave approval and accused the couple of "falsely" painting her as a liar.

"He promised to play the song for me, but he never did," Swift alleged. "While I wanted to be supportive of Kanye on the phone call, you cannot 'approve' a song you haven't heard."
