NEW YORK, June 9 (UPI) -- Adriana Lima hopes to someday star in a Quentin Tarantino movie.

"I'm just waiting for someone to see me. I'm like, 'Hello, I'm here,'" she said of her desire to act. "My dream role is with Quentin Tarantino, fingers crossed. I haven't had a chance to tell him that directly."

Lima is the face of Marc Jacobs Decadence perfume and presented the Fragrance of the Year award to the brand at the ceremony. The model was first inspired to act while filming an ad for the Decadence collection.

"That commercial was something really different for me," she told Luxury London in March. "It's like, that's when I felt that I would like in the future to be an actress. That's the moment I found out, so that was a big change."

"I would like to continue [modeling] for as long as possible," she qualified. "Not only at Victoria's Secret, but as a model for as long as my body will hold up. Hopefully I can pull up another six years ... I want to show the world there is a different beauty in mature women."

Lima has cameoed on How I Met Your Mother, Ugly Betty and The Crazy Ones, but has yet to appear in a feature film. The model is known for her work with Maybelline, Vogue Eyewear and Desigual, in addition to Victoria's Secret.
