NEW YORK, Dec. 8 (UPI) -- Tia Mowry denied she is pregnant Monday amid continued speculation about her weight.

The 37-year-old actress addressed the rumors in an interview with HuffPost Live, telling the website she considers such comments a form of body shaming.

"I am not pregnant, I am just happy," she declared. "I've gained these extra 10 [or] 15 pounds because of my cooking show ... I'm just enjoying life and when I want to drop the pounds, I will, but right now I'm happy with who I am. But it is a form of body shaming, I will say that, and it's pretty unfortunate."

"We need to be more supportive with body images, especially with women, showing that all sizes are beautiful," she said. "And I'm talking about in magazines, advertisements ... We all need to be a little more supportive of each other. I think if we start there, we'll see a difference."

Mowry, who launched her Cooking Channel show Tia Mowry at Home in April, previously responded to speculation about her weight by posting a photo of pregnancy test with the results "Just fat" on Instagram in July.

"FYI. For all the people that think I'm pregnant. I'm NOT just enjoying life and eating and cooking some great foot! Thanks :) again I repeat I AM NOT PREGNANT!" she wrote.

Mowry is best known for playing Tia Landry on Sister, Sister, and went on to star as Dr. Melanie Barnett-Davis on The Game. She and husband Cory Hardrict married in April 2008, and welcomed their first child, son Cree, in June 2011.
