PARIS, Nov. 5 (UPI) -- Emilia Clarke was named the new face of Dior jewelry Wednesday.

The 29-year-old English actress will represent the haute couture house's Rose des Vents fine jewelry line. Famed photographer Patrick Demarchelier shot Clarke for the luxury brand.

"Demarchelier captures the young actress' natural, timeless beauty -- a true reflection of the Rose des Vents stunning line of long and short necklaces in yellow and rose gold, diamonds, white mother-of-pearl and pink opal," Dior said in a statement.

"Rose des Vents, the wind rose, is also a metaphor for creation," the label's creative director, Victoire de Castellane, added. "Creating is about searching, turning things over, and then finding ones cardinal point and setting off on a journey."

Clarke is best known for playing Daenerys Targaryen on HBO series Game of Thrones, which will return for a sixth season in 2016. Bollywood star Neil Nitin Mukesh has reportedly been cast as a royal on the forthcoming season.
