ALBANY, Ga., Oct. 26 (UPI) -- Singer Phillip Phillips married fiancée Hannah Blackwell over the weekend. The 25-year-old American Idol season 11 winner and Blackwell tied the knot at the Resora Plantation in Albany, Ga., on Saturday. The wedding was followed by a Southern-style reception.

Phillips sported a Billy Reid tuxedo, while Blackwell wore a Hayley Paige gown. The couple recited their handwritten vows in front of 250 family members and friends.
"I'm so excited," the singer told People magazine. "What I love most about her is she's my best friend and I can tell her anything. I just love her."
"I feel like I met Phillip, he was the answer to so many questions I had," Blackwell added. "He just makes everything make sense for me."
Phillips met his bride nearly seven years ago at an event for his sister's charity, Mission Change. The couple got engaged last December, and recently cuddled up at a Georgia Bulldogs football game.
Phillips won American Idol season 11 in 2012, and released his debut album, The World from the Side of the Moon, the same year. He last released Behind the Light in May 2014, which debuted at No. 7 on the Billboard 200 and includes the single "Raging Fire."
