Fetty Wap hospitalized after N.J. motorcycle accident

PATERSON, N.J., Sept. 26 (UPI) -- Rapper Fetty Wap was involved in a motorycle accident Satuday, but appears to have escaped serious injury.

TMZ reported the 24-year-old, hip-hop star was riding alone in his hometown of Paterson, N.J., when he allegedly attempted to pass one vehicle, didn't see another one coming in the opposite direction and collided with it.

Paramedics reportedly transported him to a nearby hospital where he is being examined and is undergoing tests for possible fractures.

Fetty Wap's real name is Willie Maxwell. He is known for his hit songs "Trap Queen," "679" and "My Way."
