WASHINGTON, Aug. 14 (UPI) -- While mega-stars like Taylor Swift are leaving Spotify, President Obama and the White House joined the popular music streaming site Friday.

Releasing two separate POTUS-playlists for day and night, President Obama personally handpicked these tracks to jam out to during the final days of summer.

DJ Obama highlights his diverse taste in music here featuring genres such as hip-hop, jazz, R&B and folk with music from Beyonce, The Rolling Stones, John Legend, Justin Timberlake, Bob Dylan, Frank Sinatra and Otis Redding just to name a few.

The separate summer day and summer night playlists stay true to to their themes by offering more upbeat, celebratory songs in the day section while the night one features more soft-spoken, relaxing tracks.

The new Spotify account only seems to solidify Obama's love for music and his willingness to interact with the public online. Obama showcased his own singing ability just last month when he sang a rendition of "Amazing Grace" at the South Carolina funeral for Senator Clementa Pinckney.
