NEW YORK, May 21 (UPI) -- America's Got Talent host Nick Cannon won't stop moving his feet until 8 p.m. Thursday as he dances for 24 hours in support of Red Nose Day.

The television personality grooved onto the Today Show Thursday morning in glittering, spiked silver shoes that never missed a beat. Cannon began his solo dance-a-thon at 8pm Wednesday night and hasn't stopped for anything except five-minute bathroom breaks.

"I have to dance for 24-hours straight," he told Today's hosts during his 13th hour. "I got a lot of cramps earlier in the night but I'm good now," he said. "I can't feel my legs!"

The Drumline actor's contagious energy had all four hosts bobbing to an unheard beat in the Today plaza, which was packed with fans and decorated with red balloons to celebrate the impending telethon.

NBC's Red Nose Day comes to the U.S. for the first time this year following the 30-year tradition in British television. The three-hour telethon will help raise money for impoverished youth in the U.S., Africa, Asia and Latin America. Among selected charity partners are the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Gavi, The Vaccine Alliance, National urban League, Oxfam and United Way.
