LAS VEGAS, May 3 (UPI) -- Ailing blues legend B.B. King has announced on his website he is receiving hospice care in his Nevada home.
The 89-year-old musician has been hospitalized several times in recent months due to complications related to his diabetes. He canceled all of his shows last fall when he suffered dehydration and exhaustion.
"I am in home hospice care at my residence in Las Vegas," he wrote in a message Friday. "Thanks to all for your well wishes and prayers."
No other details about the status of his health were disclosed.
