Dakota Johnson debuts new bob hairstyle

NEW YORK, April 16 (UPI) -- Dakota Johnson has new, short hair.

The 25-year-old actress showed off her lob, or long bob, haircut Wednesday in New York City. Johnson previously sported mid-length tresses she often wore wavy, and chopped her locks above her shoulders.

Johnson has kept a relatively low profile since Fifty Shades of Grey premiered in February. The movie earned over $567 million at the box office, and the actress and co-star Jamie Dornan are expected to return for sequel Fifty Shades Darker sans director Sam Taylor-Johnson.

In addition to Fifty Shades Darker and third film Fifty Shades Freed, Johnson is attached to new comedy Chloe and Theo with Mira Sorvino and crime drama Black Mass with Johnny Depp. The actress is also scheduled for A Bigger Splash with Ralph Fiennes.
