"With the support of his longtime partner Jennifer Westfeldt, Jon Hamm recently completed treatment for his struggle with alcohol addiction. They have asked for privacy and sensitivity going forward," his representative said in a statement sent to multiple media outlets.

The admission comes just days before the second half of the final season of Mad Men is set to debut on AMC. All episodes of the upcoming season have already been shot and completed.
