LOS ANGELES, March 11 (UPI) -- Suge Knight's attorney will reportedly argue in court his client is legally blind in one eye.

Attorney Matthew Fletcher told TMZ Knight can't see out of his left eye due to glaucoma. He argues that when his client struck Cle "Bone" Sloan for the first time, he didn't run down the street because he didn't have a clear view of his left side.

Terry Carter, the man who died from his injuries after being run over by Knight, was also standing on the rapper's left side when he re-entered the parking lot.

Knight's team also claims he overhead Carter screaming something to the effect of "Should I shoot him?" and was not able to determine they did not have a gun because of his vision problems.

A video unveiled by TMZ Monday shows Knight running over Sloan and Carter. Fletcher, said in a courtroom Monday the video proves his client was just reacting to an attack. The rap mogul, 49, pleaded not guilty to murder and attempted murder for the January incident.
