PHILADELPHIA, Feb. 24 (UPI) -- A suspect was arrested Monday for a recent attack on two of Nicki Minaj's crew members.

Pierce Boykin, 31, was charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault, terroristic threats, simple assault and other related offenses, and may face an additional charge of homicide.

Minaj's tour manager, De'Von Pickett, and team member Eric Johnson were outside a Philadelphia bar when they were attacked and stabbed multiple times last Wednesday. Pickett died of his wounds, while Johnson was left in critical condition.

Police believe an altercation started inside the bar and culminated with the attack on the street. Philadelphia Police Captain James Clark said, "Both of the parties both knew a female who worked at the bar, and the arguments centered around her."

Pickett and Parker were in the city to begin rehearsals for Minaj's upcoming Pinkprint tour. The 32-year-old rapper will kick off the tour March 16 in Stockholm, Sweden, and confirmed Tuesday that Trey Songz and Meek Mill will also perform.
