LOS ANGELES, Feb. 9 (UPI) -- Rapper Iggy Azalea demanded an explanation from pizza delivery service Papa John's after their driver allegedly leaked her personal phone number.
Azalea posted a screenshot of a text message she received from someone who claimed be the pizza delivery driver's sibling. The text message claimed that the driver had shared Azalea's number after delivering her pizza.
Papa John's responded jokingly using one of Azalea's lyrics in their apology.
Azalea was not amused and described the incident as a data breach.
@PapaJohns I don't think data breach is funny. I expect you to contact me to explain how you are going to rectify your breach— IGGY AZALEA (@IGGYAZALEA) February 9, 2015
When an employee steals information it's called data breach. It's illegal. There are steps a corporation is supposed to follow afterward.— IGGY AZALEA (@IGGYAZALEA) February 9, 2015
They don't include tweeting out song lyrics to the customer making the complaint, it's really unprofessional. I want a real answer.— IGGY AZALEA (@IGGYAZALEA) February 9, 2015
Azalea wasn't totally humorless about the situation. She did appreciate one tweet from DiGiorno pizza.
