HOLLYWOOD, Feb. 4 (UPI) -- Vanity Fair is once again parading out the stars, packing Amy Adams, Channing Tatum and Reese Witherspoon onto the cover its annual Hollywood Issue, accompanied by an insert featuring seven additional rapid up-and-comers.
Adams, Tatum, Witherspoon, the full cover also features Benedict Cumberbatch, The Theory of Everything stars Eddie Redmayne and Felicity Jones, David Oyelowo of Selma, Sienna Miller, Oscar Isaacs, and Whiplash star Miles Teller.
"I'm wearing Amy Adams," joked Tatum to Yahoo! Celebrity when discussing the photo shoot.
Legendary photographer Annie Leibovitz, who shot all but three Hollywood Issue covers for the culture and lifestyle magazine, described the shoot as an intimate experience, unique from past Hollywood Issues.
"Usually you shoot from fairly far away, but we wanted to get really close to the actors," Leibovitz described.
"We made an effort to create a feeling of intimacy. I pushed into them, shooting to the left and then the right, coming in as tight as I could."
