Victoria Beckham on why she never smiles

LONDON, Jan. 9 (UPI) -- Victoria Beckham may have a straight face in every single picture that is taken of her, but the former Spice Girl is smiling on the inside.

The 40-year-old fashion designer said as much while answering a fire round of 73 questions for Vogue magazine from her recently launched flagship store in London.

Dressed in a cream trench coat and a matching pantsuit, Beckham opened up about everything from her favorite songs to her least favorite outfits for the questions and even addressed constant criticism about her unsmiling expression.

"I'm smiling on the inside," she said when asked why she's never seen smiling. "I feel that I have a responsibility to the fashion community."
