NASHVILLE, Nov. 3 (UPI) -- Hayden Panettiere says she has gained 40 pounds of baby weight.

The 25-year-old actress revealed her weight in an interview with Hello! magazine. Panettiere and fiancé Wladimir Klitschko are expecting their first child, and the star said she and the Ukrainian boxer won't wed until she drops the pounds.

"I'm 5 feet, 2 inches and I started out at 106 pounds and guess how much I weigh now? Around 145 pounds," she divulged. "And the worst part is that my feet are still size five and they're going, 'What's going on with all this weight?' They're about to snap from underneath me with the strain."

"I'll tell you one thing for sure: I am not walking down the aisle 40 pounds heavier than usual in a wedding dress with a huge pregnancy belly stitched in," she said good-naturedly. "Not happening."

Panettiere and Klitschko dated from 2009 to 2011, and confirmed they had gotten back together in April 2013. The couple announced their engagement in October 2013, and news of the actress' pregnancy broke in May.

"I'm so ready to hold my baby girl," she shared. "I'm going to be a very hands-on mom. I'm thrilled that I am having a girl because I feel like I know a lot about raising a strong woman. I feel very empowered myself and I think my daughter will, too."

Panettiere came to fame as Claire Bennet on NBC series Heroes, and currently stars as Juliette Barnes on ABC musical drama Nashville. Nashville is in its third season, and airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET.
