LOS ANGELES, Oct. 9 (UPI) -- Moder Family star Sarah Hyland has been issued a three-year restraining order against her ex boyfriend Matthew Prokop.

Two weeks after it was revealed that the actress obtained a temporary restraining order against Prokop after he allegedly threatened to kill her dog and burn her house, TMZ reports a judge has granted the actress a more permanent restraining order with all the protections she requested.

Per the new order, Prokop must remain within 100 yards of the actress, her dog Berkley Bixby and her home and stay away from Hyland's place of work. Additionally, the actor isn't allowed to own guns or ammunition or attack or threaten to harm Hyland's dog in any way.

Court documents introduced by Hyland in September unveiled the actress "was scared and in fear" for her life toward the end of her five-year relationship with Prokop. The documents also detail instances in which Prokop pushed her, verbally abused her and choked her.
