LOS ANGELES, Oct. 8 (UPI) -- Jennifer Garner opened up about what it was like to be around her husband Ben Affleck while he prepared for his upcoming Batman
role.
During an interview with On Air with Ryan Seacrest Tuesday, Garner revealed her husband's diet made her eat more than she usually does.
"There's something about it... whenever one of us has to be really good, the other one pudges up," Garner said. "I don't know why it is, but I blame my pudginess on his strict and disciplined place in life. There's something about it that just makes me like, 'Well, I'm gonna have a bonbon. I'm gonna have some ice cream.'"
Affleck, 42, will play the Dark Night in director Zack Snyder's upcoming action flick Batman v. Superman: The Dawn of Justice and according to Garner the actor's strict regime consisted of multiple daily workouts and a lot of steamed food.
"He worked out twice a day and ate only what was put in front of him by some very mean, mean person..." said the Men, Women & Children actress. "Everything was cut out... If I made dinner and it was a healthy dinner, he wouldn't even look at it, in case something hadn't been steamed."
Garner also discussed her upcoming role in Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day in the interview and admitted she had a hard time remembering the name of film at first. You can check her entire interview below.
