Beyonce and Jay Z spotted house-hunting in Paris

PARIS, Oct. 5 (UPI) -- Beyonce and Jay Z were spotted house-hunting in Paris last week, prompting rumors that the high-profile couple would be relocating to the fashionable French capital.

The Carters, who wrapped up their On The Run tour in Paris last month, spent last week gallivanting around the City of Lights with their 2-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy, in tow. They were seen Tuesday touring exclusive residential neighborhoods near the Élysée Palace, just a day after taking in a soccer game with retired soccer player David Beckham and former French President Nicolas Sarkozy.

The 33-year-old "Drunk in Love" singer also shared photos of their family visit to the Eiffel Tower.

Beyonce and Jay performed the last two dates of their joint tour in Paris, a city with special meaning for the couple. It's reportedly where Jay Z proposed and where Blue Ivy was conceived, the 44-year-old rapper told an audience last month.
