Pamela Anderson says she and Rick Salomon are 'doing fine'

NEW YORK, Sept. 11 (UPI) -- Pamela Anderson says she and estranged husband Rick Salomon are doing fine.

The 47-year-old actress filed for divorce from Salomon in July, but the couple were spotted kissing a mere two weeks later. The pair continued to rekindle their romance on vacation in Italy, and Anderson told Us Weekly the reconciliation appears to be going well.

"That's the thing," she said of relationships. "You can make choices. You don't have to stay in anything that doesn't feel right, you know? That's the modern world."

"It's good!" she continued. "We're good friends! I think that's kind of what makes it special ... What are the odds [of staying together]? I don't know. Who knows? Who knows? I think we're in it. I think we're doing fine."

Anderson and Salomon previously married in 2007, and annulled the marriage in 2008, citing fraud. The actress announced in January she and Salomon had wed for a second time. Anderson was previously married to Tommy Lee and Kid Rock, and Salomon has dated E.G. Daily, Shannen Doherty and Paris Hilton.
