LOS ANGELES, Sept. 8 (UPI) -- Ellen DeGeneres addressed her relationship with wife Portia de Rossi on Monday. The 56-year-old television host chose to set the record straight on the season 12 premiere of The Ellen DeGeneres Show. The couple have been plagued by divorce rumors for months, but DeGeneres declared all is well between her and de Rossi.

"I had a great summer," she shared. "I went on a trip with Portia, my beautiful wife -- who I'm happy married to, but thank you for your heartfelt concern, tabloids. We went to France."
DeGeneres used her show to squash similar reports in December 2013.
"It's so ridiculous to me," she said at the time. "There's not one ounce of truth to any of it. I am very happily married. In fact, the only thing we ever argue about is who loves who more. That is all. Really, it's true. And we argue if we'd let a kangaroo carry us in a pouch for a year."
Recent reports claim the couple are patching up any marital troubles they may have. DeGeneres and de Rossi have been together since 2004, and celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary on August 16.
