'Scandal' star Scott Foley announces wife's third pregnancy

Foley's co-star Kerry Washington also welcomed a baby this year.

LOS ANGELES, July 16 (UPI) -- Scandal star Scott Foley announced that he and his wife are expecting a third child in a birthday tweet.

The actor, who plays Olivia Pope's (Kerry Washington) love interest Jake Ballard on the show, had his 42nd birthday Tuesday. He tweeted a picture of his wife, Marika Dominczyk, with the announcement.

The couple celebrated their seventh wedding anniversary in June and have a daughter and son.

Foley's co-star Kerry Washington also welcomed a baby this year. She gave birth to her first child, Isabella Amarachi, on April 21.

Scandal will begin its fourth season this fall on ABC.
