Ashley Benson gets restraining order against guard who wanted a sexual relationship with her

BURBANK, Calif., June 19 (UPI) -- Pretty Little Liars star Ashley Benson got a restraining order Wednesday against a security guard who was fired form the show's set after claiming he had sexual feelings for the actress.

James Gorton Jr. reportedly told other studio security officials that he felt a special connection to Benson ever since she looked at him one day, TMZ reports. He added that the two, and others, had been communicating silently with him.

Gorton, who is married, told people he was in a relationship with the 24-year-old actress and that he was "instructed by God" to pursue her romantically.

"I am also told that Mr. Gorton believes that God has spoken to him through my character on Pretty Little Liars," Benson said in court documents.

Gorton, 49, was fired from the set soon after officials learned about his delusion, but Benson decided to file a temporary restraining order over fear that he would follow her home. The order requires the guard to stay 100 yards away from the actress.
