Stephen Hawking biopic to be released in November

HOLLYWOOD, April 10 (UPI) -- Focus Features announced a release date of Nov. 7 for the biopic of physicist Stephen Hawking, Theory of Everything.

The film stars Eddie Redmayne as the super genius and Felicity Jones as his wife, art student Jane Wilde.

Theory of Everything focuses on Hawking's younger years as he studies at Cambridge University in the 1960s and the early development of his ALS, which left him wheelchair-bound.

Wilde's memoir, Traveling to Infinity: My Life with Stephen, served as an inspiration for the film.
