ODESSA, Ukraine, April 8 (UPI) -- "Human Barbie" Valeria Lukyanova opened up in a recent interview and expressed more of her controversial beliefs about beauty.
The 28-year-old Ukrainian gained notoriety after her dedication to living as a human doll became known through photos and videos on her website. Many dubbed her the "human Barbie" due her long blonde hair, enormous eyes, breast implants and 18-inch waist. Lukyanova subsists on a vegetarian and liquid diet, and recently announced that she will train herself to exist on only "air and light."
Lukyanova spoke to GQ magazine for their April issue and said that she loves her "Nordic image." The living doll went on to express her opinion that beauty ideals have changed "because of the race-mixing."
"For example, a Russian marries an Armenian," she elaborates. "They have a kid, a cute girl, but she has her dad's nose. She goes and files it down a little, and it's all good. Ethnicities are mixing now, so there's degeneration, and it didn't used to be like that."
You won't, however, find Lukyanova having any children -- mixed-ethnicity or not -- anytime soon.
"It's unacceptable to me," she asserts. "The very idea of children brings out this deep revulsion in me... I'd rather die from torture because the worst thing in the world is to have a family lifestyle."
Lukyanova denies that her aversion to a traditional family stems from feminism. "I'm against feminism," she says. "But what would you [have] children for? So they can get you a glass of water when you're on your deathbed?"
She currently lives childless in Ukraine, but plans to move to the United States or Mexico sometime in the near future.
"I tend to cut off anything I don't need," she says. "The next step is to cut off Ukraine entirely, because all I get here is [expletive]. Why waste myself on this?"
Lukyanova traveled to the U.S. earlier this year to gauge interest in her story, but she has received no Hollywood offers for now.
