Pippa Middleton thinks her bridesmaid dress fit 'a little too well'

LONDON, Feb. 26 (UPI) -- Pippa Middleton became a household name in Britain when her sister got engaged to Prince William, but her notoriety went through the roof when her backside-skimming bridesmaid dress became a royal-wedding talking point.

Speaking Tuesday at a London event, Middleton was frank about the Alexander McQueen dress that nearly upstaged her sister's wedding gown.

"As I have found out, recognition has its upside, its downside and -- you may say -- its backside," the 30-year-old told attendees of the Women in Advertising and Communications Dinner.

Middleton said she was "glad it fitted." But admitted that "in ­retrospect it fitted a little too well."
