Kate Middleton takes Prince George on vacation

Prince George had his first vacation with his mom and a nice change from the U.K. weather.

LONDON, Feb. 11 (UPI) -- Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton took her son Prince George on vacation in the West Indies.

The mother and son were seen getting off a plane on the small, private island of Mustique. Middleton had a large group with her but the cameras were focused on the six-month-old prince as he started his first holiday.

The Duke of Cambridge was not present for this vacation due to remaining in England for school. Middleton was instead accompanied by her her brother James. They are reportedly meeting on the island to celebrate their mother's birthday.
