Larry David is richest funny man in the U.S.

NEW YORK, Aug. 20 (UPI) -- "Seinfeld" co-creators Larry David and Jerry Seinfeld are the richest comedians in the United States, Wealth-X announced Tuesday.

David, who also created and starred in the TV show "Curb Your Enthusiasm," has a personal fortune of $900 million, while Seinfeld follows close behind with $800 million.

Coming in at No. 3 is talk-show host David Letterman with $390 million, followed by comedian-author-actor Bill Cosby at No. 4 with $360 million and actor-producer Adam Sandler at No. 5 with $290 million.
