NEW YORK, May 5 (UPI) -- "Time Stands Still," which earned a Tony Award nomination Tuesday for Best Play, is to reopen this fall on Broadway after a hiatus, its producers said.

Written by Pulitzer Prize winner Donald Margulies and directed by Tony Award winner Daniel Sullivan, the production will star original cast members Laura Linney, Brian d'Arcy James and Eric Bogosian.

The show enjoyed an extended sold-out run at the Manhattan Theatre Club's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre this spring. It will resume performances Sept. 23 at a Shubert theater to be announced.

The production will be on hiatus until the fall to accommodate Linney's commitment to her new Showtime series "The Big C," which is now in production and will premiere Aug. 16.

Linney also picked up a Tony nomination Tuesday for Best Leading Actress in a Play.

Alicia Silverstone, who created the role of Mandy on Broadway, will not be able to continue with the production because of previously scheduled commitments. Casting for the role will be announced in the coming weeks, the show's producers said Wednesday.
