Goody says goodbye in funeral video

BUCKHURST HILL, England, April 6 (UPI) -- Reality TV show star Jade Goody said goodbye to her loved ones in a video message played at her funeral Saturday in Britain.

The Daily Telegraph reported Saturday that Goody, known for her appearance on Channel 4's "Big Brother," offered a brief video-taped message to those attending her funeral at St John the Baptist Church in Buckhurst Hill.

"That's it from me," Goody said on the video. "See you around maybe. Bye."

Goody died of cervical cancer March 22 at the age of 27 and her funeral Saturday included a cortege that traveled through London and Essex.

Parliament Member Simon Hughes, who was among the mourners at the ceremony, said he was considering a memorial that would honor Goody and her work promoting cancer awareness.

"My thoughts are something which reflects the tremendous amount of good Jade did in raising awareness among young women about cervical cancer would be appropriate," he told the Telegraph
