LONDON, July 2 (UPI) -- A painting by late U.S. artist Jean-Michel Basquiat, which hung in the rock band U2's Dublin studio for years, has sold for a reported $10.4 million.

Bought by U2 in New York in 1989, Basquiat's "Untitled" has been sold to a private European buyer at an auction in London, Sotheby's told the BBC.
