Report: Carey and Cannon are married

NEW YORK, May 1 (UPI) -- U.S. singer Mariah Carey and actor Nick Cannon have married in a small ceremony on an island, insiders say.

An insider told Latina magazine the wedding was "very impulsive."

Usmagazine.com said Carey, 38, and Cannon, 27, met when he directed the music video for her song "Bye Bye" in late March.
