Source: Winehouse has new love interest

LONDON, April 26 (UPI) -- Amy Winehouse has a new 24-year-old boyfriend whose healthy habits differ greatly from those of the British singer's incarcerated husband, a source says.

The unidentified source confirmed earlier reports the "Rehab" singer is dating Alex Haynes, her manager's assistant, and plans to divorce her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, who is currently jailed in London, The Sun reported Saturday.

"It is a relief that it's finally out and they have everyone's 100 percent backing," the source said. "Alex is a good boy. He doesn't smoke or take drugs. He isn't a big drinker. Amy has really fallen for him."

An unidentified friend of Winehouse said Friday the popular singer had previously attempted to keep her new relationship a secret from the media to keep it from her husband, who was arrested on trial-fixing charges.

"Amy doesn't want the truth coming out because she doesn't want him reading things that will upset him in case he tries to do anything silly in jail," the friend told the Sun.
