LONDON, March 21 (UPI) -- "About A Son," a documentary set for DVD release at the end of the month, features previously unheard interviews with the late U.S. singer Kurt Cobain.

Cobain, the front man for the grunge rock group Nirvana, committed suicide in 1994.

The Daily Telegraph reported the new film features interviews conducted in 1993 and shows Cobain discussing his strained relationship with his bandmates, as well as what attracted him to his rocker wife Courtney Love.

Cobain said he fought with fellow Nirvana members Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic regarding songwriting credits.

"It was a really big deal for Krist and Dave. They sincerely felt that they deserved just as much songwriting credit as I do, which is bulls--t, just bull--t," Cobain said.

Love has battled with Grohl -- now the front man of the Foo Fighters -- over the legacy of Nirvana's music since Cobain's death, the British newspaper noted.

In talking about his wife, Cobain revealed: "She made me feel like a rebel. It's so easy to play songs with Courtney. Every time we jam on something we write a great song."
