'Anatomy' guest spot in Walsh's future

LOS ANGELES, March 1 (UPI) -- Actress Kate Walsh, who used to play Dr. Addison Montgomery on "Grey's Anatomy," is set to return to the hit U.S. TV series for a one-episode guest spot.

While Walsh parlayed her success on the popular ABC drama to a starring role in the medical series "Private Practice," People magazine said Friday the actress will temporarily return to "Anatomy" sometime this spring.

"Practice," in which Walsh continues to play the role of Dr. Montgomery, is on a break until this fall as a result of the now-settled writers' strike.

Meanwhile, "Anatomy" will being airing five original new episodes of the medical drama starting April 24. People said no firm date has been announced regarding when Walsh's "Anatomy" episode will air.
